Status Seating has earned an enviable reputation for quality and design with its Chiropod, Therapod and Zetapod range of chairs and are also the sole UK manufacturer of System Therapod® recommended by physiotherapists, chiropractors and many other healthcare professionals.
Back-related absenteeism runs second only to the common cold in the UK. In the office environment, high-quality supportive seating can go a long way to minimise this problem.
All products carry a 5-year guarantee and are tested and approved by FIRA to BS5459 Part 2 (2000) level S.
Status products are currently used in many well-known organisations across the UK including major banks, financial service companies, local and national government offices, emergency service centres, police control rooms and many other private companies.
At Seating World we can supply a superb range of Status Chairs and other office seating and furniture.

Chiropod Endurance.
Ever since Status Seating successfully launched the Therapod 24/7, customers have been interested in a high-performance chair with enough quality and strength to last for many years but with more of the functionality expected of a top-quality office chair.
Chiropod Endurance is the most affordable solution for call centres and busy office environments where hot desking is the normal work practice anywhere, in fact, where chairs are subjected to very high usage by multiple occupants, all day and everyday.
Using the Chiropod rigid shell and pre-tensioned lumbar strapping system, the chair incorporates a very heavy-duty mechanism, base and T-arms. The ultra-durable pressure-sensitive seat foam guarantees additional comfort and support.
In short, Endurance provides all the strength of a dedicated 24/7 chair with the functionality and comfort of the very best in operator seating, including full synchro action and adjustable arms.
All Chiropod 24/7 seats are fitted with a thick layer of pressure-sensitive foam. This advanced UK-made foam distributes bodyweight more evenly over a larger surface area than any ordinary foam product. It also softens at body temperature and allows the user to sit gently but perfectly supported. And when a new user sits down, the foam rapidly re-moulds to their new shape.
Chiropod.
Chiropod uses the same strapped backrest as the Therapod, but is pre-tensioned rather than adjustable and hence at a lower cost.
The Chiropod range is broad in it's own right and capable of fulfilling the needs of many large organisations. When complemented by the Therapod range, the result is a comprehensive suite of chairs offering visual uniformity and extensive user adapability. Which means your budget can be applied according to your need, without incurring the visual inconsistancy that comes from specifying chairs from different ranges.
Chiropod 747.
Another Therapod design derivative, the Chiropod 747 means the larger person can now enjoy smart, modern office seating - but with the comfort of a chair designed to accomodate their physical needs. The 747 has an internal seat width of 595mm, a full 95mm bigger than the standard chair width, which enables well-built employees to fit easily between the adjustable arms without embarrassment.
Zetapod.
Zetapod is a general-purpose high back operator chair made to a very high standard using premium components.
The fully-upholstered back incorporates a quick-lift height adjustment while its attractive sculptured form provides proper support for the lower sacrum, mid lumbar and upper thoracic regions.
The range offers a choice of arms: either a height- and width-adjustable arm with soft touch pads or a simple non-adjustable hoop arm. The seat pan is upholstered with deep comfort pressure-sensitive foam and a robust seat slider is available as an option.
Both Zetapod 1 and Zetapod 3 are available with the optional factory fitted adjustable headrest.
