Sven Christiansen Ambus -3 range combines functionality with style. We know which workstations are proven to maximise space utilisation and enhance productivity. The new improved range of Ambus-3 caters for new technology and new patterns of working and significant upgrade core functionality. At the same time Ambus-3 remains easy to plan, specify and reconfigure.

We have introduced a wider range of finish options incorporating MFC and wood veneer options. Ambus-3 can be used to create attractive and efficient working environments in an exceptionally wide range of styles.

Wire management
All desktops are fitted with cable access ports as standard. Wire management is accessed from the user side of the desk-so cables can be added or removed easily even if a desk is placed up against a wall or screen. Or side to side against another desk or workstation.

Panel end desking
Panel end desks are optionally available as “wire managed” with vertical cable risers fitted to the inside of the panels (not visible from the outside of the desk). A further option for panel end desks are pass- through ports set in the end panels, enabling cables to be run between adjacent desks.

Metal framed desking
Metal framed desks are “wire managed” (fitted with vertical cable risers) as standard, and, and also as standard incorporate pass-through ports at the top of the frame.

Optional cable trays
Both panel end and metal framed desks may be optionally fitted with cable trays, which fit to the inside of the back panel and provide enhanced cable handling capabilities. Cable trays may be fitted with sockets for power, data and comms.

Alternative wire management
For situations where cables can not be conveniently routed through our vertical cable risers, we offer free- standing flexible cable spines that may be positioned wherever desired.

Storage and fittings
Sven Ambus-3 offers storage units in five heights and two widths. Closures include double doors, glass doors; roll out filing drawers, and both vertical and side tambour doors. Internally, Sven Ambus-3 storage units are all fitted with integral shelf tracking that accepts a wide range of fittings, including veneer, MFC and steel shelves; roll-out filing frames and reference shelves, lateral filing frames, pigeonhole units and wardrobe fittings. All fittings are available to suit our 800mm and 1000mm wide storage units.
